26 July 1904 Moische Slobodkin arrives New York aboard S.S. Vaderland of the Red Star Lines, sailing from Antwerp, Belgium 16 July 1904. Passage was paid by brother Nachman Josef Slobodkin, 1384 Park Ave, New York.
5 Aug 1904 Liebe Slobodkin (Lillian Bodkin) born [Note: we have been told that Aunt Lillian was born in Russia, but on the 1910 and 1920 US census her birth place was alternately given as Germany and Belgium.]

ca 1930 Rebecca Slobodkin died Coney Island, NY? [Alex said Rebecca died when he was about 2 years old.]
26 Nov 1953 Morris Bodkin died Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Franklin Co, OH, age 75 [source: death certificate.]
2 Feb 1973 Rose Bodkin died Middletown, Delaware Co, PA, age 92 [source: death certificate.]
