The files of cousin Martin Greely list Nancy as the oldest child, born 1792, but the only records we have found for Nancy is her father's will and estate administration papers, so we are not able to confirm or refute this. In the will, she was named as Nancy Pickett, and in the estate papers, she signed receipts when parts of the estate were distributed. We know she was alive as late as March 1858, when a niece witnessed her signature, and hope to find more on her. We are still looking for a marriage record and other evidence of her husband and children. Any information on this family greatly appreciated.
