  Thanks to our cousins Jim Bray and Tom Mefford for photos of the cabin in Mason Co, Kentucky often referred to as Mefford's Fort or Mefford's Station. The cabin, which is now an historical landmark, is the frontier home of our ancestors George Mefford and Malinda Masters and was reportedly built from the flatboat that brought them down the river from Pennsylvania.
