This photo belonged to my great grandparents Ella and David Shreve and passed on to my grandmother Birdie Marsh and her sister Josie Shreve, and is now in the possesion of my Aunt Babe (Eleanor Marsh front left of photo) who let me scan it this summer. The names are inscribed on the back in Ella Shreve's hand and was probably taken by my grandmother Birdie (Shreve) Marsh. The photo was taken in Norwood, Ohio near the family home on Ash St. on a hill that held a water tower.

We are trying to discover the identity of E.J. Cooksey in this photo, who we believe is a relative, and estimate that it was taken 1920 or so since my mother Helen Marsh was born 1912 and her sisters Pearl and Eleanor were born 1910 and 1916. Great grandparents Ella and David Shreve died in March 1927. Fred Martin was born 1882 and is the son of George W. Martin and Sarah Kendall, sister of Ella. Josie Shreve was born 1877 and is my grandmother's oldest sister.
