The JewishGen Family Finder (JGFF) is a searchable database of over 125,000 entries: 40,000 ancestral surnames and 13,000 town names, that are currently being researched by Jewish genealogists worldwide. The database is indexed and cross-referenced by both surname and town name. By using the JGFF, you can learn whether others are seeking ancestors of the same surname or town of origin. All genealogists are encouraged to participate in the JGFF and there is an automated form for adding your surnames and locales.
