ca 1798 - 1818. There are other KINDLE families in Perry County
at the same time: William Jun. b.before 1754, Mason b.c. 1775-1784,
David b.c.1755-1774, Benjamin b.c. 1755-1774 I would like to untangle
the relationships. Some of these families, or their children,
ended up in the Miami Valley area of Ohio. I'd like to talk with
anyone researching this surname in either PA or OH.
Joe Barber jbarber@microtouch.com 4 Jun 97 Looking for information on Joshua KENDALL, born abt 1820 in Lebanon,
NH. He was a drummer in the Civil War. According to bits of information
from family members (my mother is a KENDALL) his father was married
in Wells River, Vermont to a full Mohawk Indian. On all of Joshuas
census records he is listed as born in Lebanon however they have
no record of his birth in Lebanon. I am trying to find out his
parents names. Can anyone help? Thank You, Joe.

married Sarah FOSTER ca 1765 Orange County, VA. In 1777 William
died. Sarah Foster Kendall moved her family to Wilkes County,
NC, where she got a land grant before 1786. Their children were:
John KENDALL 1766-1840 who m. Elizabeth TRIPLETT; Sarah KENDALL
1768-1845 m. Robert SHEARER; William KENDALL 1770-1840 m. Elizabeth
HAGLER; Elizabeth KENDALL 1772-1845 m. John MERRITT & John BARLOW;
James KENDALL 1774-1857 m. Mary DULA; Thomas KENDALL 1776-post
1860 m. Rebecca HOLMAN & Nancy; Orange County, Virginia, has several
KENDALL family members listed in various records. Need proof of

who married a Rebecca GARDINER on Xmas day 1740, in Burlington
Co. NJ. I also have been helped in finding the link between George
and Reece KENDALL/KINDAL. Reece( George's son) was the executor
of Georges estate in Elsinboro Salem Co. N.J. in 1804. I am wondering
if Georges father was named James the son of Thomas who came to
America as bricklayer in the 1680's.

b Cincinatti OH in 1867, d Gig Harbor WA in 1938. His father was
Horace Clough, b Darrtown Butler Co, OH in 1842, he was an editor
to one of the Cincinatti newspapers in the 1880's & 90's, I am
not sure when or where he died. His father was Stephan KENDALL,
b Gloucester, Salem Co, NJ in 1794, and died Hamilton Co, OH in
1880. I believe he was the youngest child to Reese KENDALL/KINDLE,
who was b between 1740 and 1745, in Gloucester, Salem Co, NJ.
I think he died in Jefferson Co, OH in the 1820's. I may be wrong
about this. Reese's father was George KENDALL/KINDLE who d Elsinboro,
Salem Co, NJ in 1804. I am wondering if his father was named James
KENDALL, who was the son of Thomas KENDALL an emigrant bricklayer,
who settled in Burlington Co, NJ, first in the 1680's, then in
Gloucester Co, NJ, he died in the 1720's.

My director ancestor Isaac KENDAL was born ca 1776 in or near
Enosburg, VT. In 1795 he & his father relocated to Jefferson County,
NY. Isaac married Susanna GOODALE of Plymouth origin. Years of
searching for my particular Isaac KENDALL have been to no avail.
Hope a fellow Kendall researcher can assist.
My wife is Katherine Clement Kendall. Her ggrandfather was Henry
Tyson Kendall of Reading PA. His father was Joseph Kendall also
of Reading Beyond this we have no trace of the family except that
we we have been told that they were early settlers of Kenhorst,PA
in Berks County near Reading. If anyone can help with our research
on this line please us know. Thanks.
