“I have established a web page for Samuel Kendall, b. Abt. 1780 in Lancashire, England. He came to America in 1806, entering at Charleston, SC. He and family were first in Newberry Co, SC in 1808-1811, in Dallas Co., AL in the 1820 Census, remaining there until the late 1850s, moving to LA and eventually to Navarro Co., TX, Roger Mills Co., OK, Union Co., AR. Other early families associated with this branch of Kendalls include Tipton, Grumbles, McCormick, Byer Jones, Daniels.”

John's website contains some history of his Kendall line, descendants of Yelbert Kendall and Amy Kendall, who were born in the 1760's in VA and married August 4, 1794, in Nelson Co., KY. They and descendants later lived in Decatur, Shelby and Rush Counties, in Indiana. One page has a table of deeds for family members in Decatur and Shelby Cos.
